Oooh! I really like the handles, good pick there :) How do you feel about the colour now it is installed? I don't think it looks too light, it's a nice contrast to the tiles. I've been having paranoia about our main bathroom and laundry cabinents after seeing how light the finish is on other blogs. When they got burnt to a crisp I hoped oyster linea might have been discontinued but no such luck! Lol!
thanks Mel! definitely prefer it now it's installed but still find it a little flat - I think something like oyster linea will be lovely as it has a bit of variation and texture about it. it is so funny you say that though about your selection as I had the similar thought when our SS called us a few weeks ago - "I hope our bathroom cabinets are discontinued and we have to pick new selections" haha. It all seems to come together nicely though and you remember why you picked it in the first place. what's the plan with your build now? still can't believe the factory burnt down
Love your paint colours on the new post! You've done a great job with selections - isn't it a relief when it all comes together. Apparently our tiling will start this week and the materials have been delivered. We are having big issues with the front door now because the door the was delivered is actually right but the side lights and frame that have already been installed and painted are wrong. I have this horrible feeling that they are going to want to rip out the framework and glass which has essentially been bricked/boarded in. The best solution would be ordering a bigger door but we didn't pay for that. I think we would pay extra if it meant not ripping the entryway apart but it's not really our fault the mistake was made.
Things have just been so bad and we don't like to call them and pester but I think we are going to have to. Our SS still won't be back for a few weeks apparently so the big boss is flying in/driving but it's not regularly. I'm glad to see yours is going so well though, I think you'll be in for Easter for sure!
