Brickwork is almost completely finished, just waiting on the small details around the windows as well as our pillars on the front patio (these will be bagged and painted)
Right now I'm so glad we never considered anything like a polished concrete floor - the slab is disgustingly messy with concrete dropped in several places and chips from fallen bricks.
Something I did not get a photo were some holes I've noticed in our mortar - very tiny holes that are perfectly round, almost as though drilled. After some careful Google investigation, it seems as though we may have mortar wasps or bees :( Has anyone dealt with this before?

It's looking wonderful! Not long until lock up for you now :D That's rotten luck with the mortar wasps, damn bugs (I hate bugs!). We are waiting on windows and bricks now but nothing has happened this week yet. It's amazing how quickly I get frustrated when there is no work happening lol.
